Why Versioning Javascript Is Important

Before I begin, I would like to acknowledge the people who make and sell themes.  I am not a graphic designer, and I outsource just about all visual aspects of the work I do.  I typically will get a ready-made "theme" and then make it work the way I want it to, and do customizations to it.  Most of the themes I get are absolutely amazing.  Some of these people are truly masters at their craft, and I wouldn't be able to do my job well without them.   Sometimes, they make it almost too easy to use, by doing things like inlining JQuery-UI in the main javascript function.  This is fine, until you need to update it.  You're now left with two options:  take it out of the app.js (and if you're using MVC like me, adding it to a bundle if you'd like), or updating the minified version directly in the main Javascript ...
